Preliminary Project

In the preliminary task, the goal was to make an opening sequence that included continuity editing, the 180 degree rule, action match and shot/reverse shot. The clip also had to include someone entering a room through a door, walk across the room to sit down and then have a conversation.

WWW:

• We included all of the aspects in the specification; the 180 degree rule, action match and shot/reverse shot
• Transitions were attempted and used effectively
• Music was added to fit with the sequence

EBI:

• Attempt to move the camera across the 180 degree line by showing the camera movement across
• Use a wider range of shot types
• Use a larger amount of shots that adds to the continuity of the sequence
